Mahoning County should have a prosecutor who has the experience to handle all aspects of the job. Lynn has that experience from death penalty cases to minor offenses. Plus, she worked in the civil division of the Prosecutor's Office. Perhaps the strongest motivator for her decision to run is the serious failures she has witnessed in current prosecution practices of some of the most serious offenses. This has resulted in delays in trials, cases being dismissed or lost, convictions being overturned. This has not only been costly for taxpayers, it has often delayed or denied justice and put public safety at risk.

resources on specialty courts to help our Veterans and others who need mental health assistance, substance abuse treatment and those who are low-level and first-time offenders. This will not only help break the cycle of re-offending for those who need help, it will save resources and money.

victims are treated with respect and ensure that cases are fairly, ethically and efficiently prosecuted.

Lynn will work closely with law

enforcement to ensure unified preparation of cases. 

She will make sure prosecutors work in a professional environment where opinions are valued, and hard work is recognized in order to avoid the turnover that has plagued the prosecutor's office for years. 

She will focus her efforts on training so that if a case is lost, it's because a jury concludes that there wasn't enough evidence to convict, not because of lack of preparation, lack of training or failure to follow the rules.
